CDI, NATIONAL OUTPATIENT
IMAGING CORPORATION, SELECTS MERGE EFILM FUSION SERVER
PACS TO INTEGRATE WITH RIS LOGIC CS® - Integrated
RIS and PACS functionaility at twenty-four imaging centers
to accelerate radiologists' productivity and improve
service to patients and referring physicians.
Milwaukee, WI, July 28, 2003 - Merge Technologies
Incorporated (NASDAQ: MRGE), d.b.a. Merge eFilm, today
announced the selection of FUSION Server PACS by the
Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), a national outpatient
imaging company with twenty four centers located in
six states. FUSION Server will be integrated with CDI's
Radiology Information System, RIS Logic CS. With Merge eFilm's recent acquisition of RIS Logic, CDI will have
a primary partner for its information and medical image
management, supported by a single organization with
extensive integration expertise. CDI's complete workflow
solution includes patient registration and order entry,
modality DICOM connectivity, image archiving and distribution,
radiologist workflow management, transcription and voice-to-text
recognition, image and report distribution, and business
and financial reporting. This solution will allow CDI
to have faster access to information, images and voice
files, resulting in accelerated productivity and cash
flow.
