Clinical PACS for Technical Professionals (CPACS)
The Clinical PACS (CPACS) training course will cover the basic clinical skills necessary to support a PACS system. It is designed for those that have a technical/IT background and/or little to no clinical experience. The course includes discussions on industry standards and skills inventories. We will also examine content specifications for PACS related certification exam(s) currently available.
The course goals are:
- To Eliminate Fear….. of computers, “techie” talk, the unknown and not keeping up
- Feel good about….enhanced computer knowledge, new computer tricks and improved understanding of networks, having eliminated some of the computer mystery (it’s not magic! It’s Information Technology!)

- Prefetching and relevant priors, folder hierarchy
