Dashboards Advanced Report Studio Training

This 3-day advanced course is conducted at Merge Daytona Beach Campus and is targeted to the customers that have completed Report Studio Fundamentals.

User Training
The advanced course is designed for professional report authors to learn advanced report building techniques and have completed the Report Studio Fundamentals training. The class offers complex report building techniques utilizing the Merge data models. Focus on building advanced report creations based on customers’ needs with emphasis on Joins, Unions, Intersects, and Advanced Expressions.

Attendees will participate in hands on exercises that illustrate key concepts.

Upon completion of this course, users will be able to:
  • Write advanced reports using Dashboards Report Studio
  • Creating Workbooks
  • Dynamic data items and titles
  • Render columns and report objects using Boolean and string variables for conditional formatting
  • User defined sorting
  • Conditional Blocks
  • Formatting summaries
  • Singletons
  • Advanced drill through reports for multiple items
  • Utilizing Joins, Intersects, Unions and Master Detail Relationships
  • Creating Advanced Expressions
  • Cascading Prompts
  • Adding comments to saved output
  • Creating dynamic and multipage dashboard
Prerequisites
  • Familiarity with Financials, RIS and or Sentinel systems.
  • Into and Admin training completed
  • Query Studio training completed
  • Report Studio Fundamentals training completed

Recommended Skill Set
  • Knowledge of SQL or Report Authoring software (for example; Microsoft Access, Monarch or Crystal Reports)
  • Strong Analytical Aptitude
  • Knowledge of your business requirements
  • Experience using the Windows operating system
  • Familiarity with Financials, RIS and/or Sentinel data element
  • Practiced and skilled in Report Studio Fundamentals
