Did You Know? HALO
Q: How do I turn off the Patient Record option in HALO?

A: Go to User and Groups Privileges in the Management Pages section. Select the check box location about a third of the way down on the Group Privileges section. This will turn off Patient Record for all of your radiologists. If any of the radiologists want to keep Patient Record, you will need to enable it at a User level instead of Group level.

Merge RIS

Did You Know?
Q: What do I do if an inbound report is not processing for a brand new report template that I just created in RIS?
A: After you create the report template for your location, go into the Admin side of RIS and navigate down to Report Processor. Click on “Setting” below Report Processor to open the Report Processor Settings page. Click on the “STOP” button within the Report Processor Settings page. Wait until Report Processor completely stops and then click on the “START” button to reinitialize Report Processor. Did You Know?
Q: What are some tips for setting up a CADstream layout?
A: CADstream allows users to set up to view as many as nine series panes per monitor. CADstream recognizes each image pane as an entity; you can apply panning, window width/leveling and zooming effects independently to each pane.

If you want to apply these effects globally, link the images.

When displaying more than one image you can quickly switch to a single image by double clicking within the desired image pane. If you have two monitors, this operation is monitor specific. That is, if you have a quad display on each monitor and you double click on an image, the display is updated to show a single image only on that monitor.

To return to the selected display mode, double click again.

Q: What are the hardware requirements needed to install the CADstream on an existing client workstation for remote viewing?
