What the speed of implementations means for radiology burnout - and what we can do about it
Burnout has evolved. Constant interruptions, switching subspecialties, multiple workstations, fragmented data, and growing image volumes all add up to more friction, more frustration, and greater burnout for radiologists. And the twist? The tools to fix these issues exist right now -- but they aren't reaching clinicians fast enough.
In this new webinar, Dr. Raj Chopra, Chief Medical Officer for Merge and a practicing radiologist, delves into:
- Why implementations of these tools have lagged at larger health systems
- How the slower pace of implementations is impacting radiologists' mental health, especially when they hear about these same tools being used at other organizations
- Five practical, actionable steps that providers can take today to accelerate implementations and give clinical teams a greater voice in the process
Following the presentation, Laurie Bergeron, Vice President of Technology Product Management for Merge, and Peter Brown, Vice President of Customer Services and Support for Merge, share their perspectives on how Merge’s product development cycles anticipate these issues, what a successful implementation looks like, and mitigation strategies for when an implementation needs to get back on track.
